To debug your Android app or mobile web page using Chrome on desktop, follow these simple steps:
The steps are as follows:
On your Android device, go to "Settings" and scroll down to "About Phone". Tap "Build number" seven times. This unlocks "Developer Options", which is hidden by default. Then go back to "Settings", open "Developer Options", and turn on "USB debugging".
Once "USB Debugging" is enabled, plug your phone into the computer and accept the debugging prompt when it appears.
Now, On your desktop, open the Chrome browser. And In the top address bar, type "chrome://inspect" and press Enter.
This will open Chrome’s Remote Devices screen. Under the Remote Target section, you’ll see your connected Android device along with any open browser tabs.
This launches Chrome DevTools for the mobile browser tab—letting you inspect elements, view console logs, debug CSS/JS, and more, just like on desktop.
This setup helps you find layout bugs, monitor performance, and troubleshoot JavaScript issues live on your Android device.
