Screen recording is the best way to record, edit and share your smartphone content. It allows users to record anything happening on their smartphone screens while allowing them to use, edit and upload their recordings on different channels.
With the Android Smartphone's built-in screen recorder feature, you can record your screens with or without sound. Before starting the screen recording on Android, you'll need to enable the Screen Recorder option in your Quick Settings menu.
You might need a third-party app to record your screen if you're running an older Android version (below Android 10).
Following are the steps on how to screen record on Android phone.
By default, an Android device stores these recordings in your media files or the default camera gallery.
To screen record on iPhone, swipe down from the top right corner to access the Control Center. Tap the screen recording icon to start recording. A red indicator will appear in the status bar. To stop, tap the indicator, or go to the Control Center and tap the screen recording icon again.
To screen record on a Mac, follow these steps: Press Command + Shift + 5 to open the screen recording tool. Choose recording options like screen or area selection. Click 'Record' to begin and 'Stop' to end the recording. The video will be saved on your desktop.
To screen record on Windows, utilize the built-in Xbox Game Bar. Press Win+G to open it, then select the 'Record' button or use Win+Alt+R to start recording. Alternatively, you can use third-party software like OBS Studio or Camtasia for more advanced recording options.
To screen record on Android, follow these steps: Go to 'Settings,' select 'Display,' then 'Screen recorder.' Alternatively, swipe down the notification shade and tap the 'Screen Record' icon. Adjust settings and tap 'Start'. To stop recording, tap the notification or return to the 'Screen recorder' option in 'Settings.'
To screen record on Chromebook, follow these steps: Press 'Ctrl + Shift + 5' to open the built-in screen recorder. Select 'Capture' to begin recording. Choose the desired screen area or the entire screen. Press 'Record' to start and 'Stop' to finish. Find the recording in 'Downloads.'
To screen record on your PC, use built-in tools like Xbox Game Bar on Windows 10 or third-party software like OBS Studio. Launch the tool, select the screen area to record, and start capturing. Adjust settings as needed, then stop and save the recording when finished.
To screen record with audio on Mac, utilize the built-in tool, QuickTime Player. Open QuickTime, choose 'New Screen Recording' from the File menu, enable audio by clicking the dropdown arrow next to the record button, then select the internal microphone or an external audio source. Commence recording and save the file.
To screen record on a MacBook Air, follow these steps: Press Command + Shift + 5 to open the screen recording tool. Choose the desired recording area or select the whole screen. Click 'Record' to start and 'Stop' to finish. The recording will be saved on your desktop.
