How to screen record on Android phone?

Screen recording is the best way to record, edit and share your smartphone content. It allows users to record anything happening on their smartphone screens while allowing them to use, edit and upload their recordings on different channels.

With the Android Smartphone's built-in screen recorder feature, you can record your screens with or without sound. Before starting the screen recording on Android, you'll need to enable the Screen Recorder option in your Quick Settings menu.

You might need a third-party app to record your screen if you're running an older Android version (below Android 10).

Following are the steps on how to screen record on Android phone.

• Open your Android phone and swipe down the notification panel.

• Swipe left and select the Screen recording.

• Once you click the Screen recording icon, you’ll get a dialog box asking for a few permissions. Accept those permissions, and a red icon will appear on your home screen.
• Click on that red icon to start the screen recording.

By default, an Android device stores these recordings in your media files or the default camera gallery.
