What are proxy settings?

Browsers tend to use proxy settings that are set on the computer. However, each browser also has a page allowing users to modify their proxy settings. There are two methods for finding the proxy settings of your Windows system:

• Proxy through the Settings application:

• Click on the Windows Icon and type "Settings" in the search bar.
• Open the Settings application and navigate to "Network & Internet."
• From the left sidebar, choose "Proxy."
• Select your preferred configuration for setting up a proxy on your Windows machine: Automatic and Manual proxy setup.

• Through Control Panel:

• Click on the Windows Icon and type “Control Panel” in the search bar.
• On the control panel page, click on “Internet Options.”
• Under Internet options, select “Connections” and then click on “LAN Settings.”
• Select your configuration for setting up a proxy in your Windows machine. You will have two configuration options: Automatic and Manual proxy setup.
