Browsers tend to use proxy settings that are set on the computer. However, each browser also has a page allowing users to modify their proxy settings. There are two methods for finding the proxy settings of your Windows system:
Proxy through the Settings application:
Click on the Windows Icon and type "Settings" in the search bar.
Open the Settings application and navigate to "Network & Internet."
From the left sidebar, choose "Proxy."
Select your preferred configuration for setting up a proxy on your Windows machine: Automatic and Manual proxy setup.
Through Control Panel:
Click on the Windows Icon and type “Control Panel” in the search bar.
On the control panel page, click on “Internet Options.”
Under Internet options, select “Connections” and then click on “LAN Settings.”
Select your configuration for setting up a proxy in your Windows machine. You will have two configuration options: Automatic and Manual proxy setup.
