Google Chrome

Chrome 4 to 51 does not support Pointer events property. Chrome 52 to 54 is not supported by default and can be enabled with the #enable-pointer-events flag. Chrome 55 to 67 supports Pointer events property.

Mozilla Firefox

This element is not supported by Mozilla Firefox browser version 2 to 40. Firefox 41 to 58 is disabled by default and only supports mouse input. On Windows only, touch can be enabled with the layers.async-pan-zoom.enabled and dom.w3c_touch_events.enabled flags. Forefox 59 to 61 supports Pointer events property.

Internet Explorer

IE browser version 6 to 9 doesn't support Pointer events. Partial support in IE10 refers the lack of pointerenter and pointerleave events. IE browser version 11 supports Pointer events.


Safari browser version 3.1 to 11.1 doesn't support Pointer events.

Microsoft Edge

Microsoft Edge browser version 12 to 17 supports this propertypointer-events.


Opera version 10.1 to 38 doesn't support Pointer events. Opera 39 to 41 is not supported by default and can be enabled with the #enable-pointer-events flag. Opera 42 to 53 supports Pointer events property.
