The CSS Values and Units Module Level 3 introduces a new type of length unit with the lvh, lvw, svh, svw CSS units. These units are intended to address shortcomings of the vw and vh units. The lvh, lvw, svh, and svw units are defined as the viewport size that results from showing or hiding the browser's user interface elements.
