With an entire year of remote work and countless testing under our belts, it might feel like we’re stuck in a repetitive loop. But don’t fear, the all-new LambdaTest Chrome Extension is here! With our new Chrome extension, you can make the cross-browser testing process even more seamless than ever. You’ll also find some bonus additions to jazz up your testing workflow.
Let’s dig right in and discover more!
The All-New LambdaTest Chrome Extension!
With an enhanced LambdaTest Chrome Extension, you can now perform live-interactive and automated cross browser testing of websites and web apps across 3000+ real browsers and operating systems right from your browser tab. With just a quick installation, you can save time by launching the website you currently view in the live test environment.
The new Chrome extension comes with the following out of the box features:
Real Time Testing: With the new extension, perform live interactive testing of websites and web apps and ensure they render correctly on multiple real browsers and operating systems. You don’t even need to enter the test URL as it is automatically fetched; just select configurations, and launch real-time tests across 2000+ browser versions right from your chrome browser.
Screenshot Testing: You can quickly generate automated screenshots of the page you’ve opened by simply selecting the browser combinations. Find cross-browser issues more easily by capturing screenshots of websites and web apps across 25 browsers & operating systems in a single test session.
When performing screenshot testing, you can also save your favorite browsers in a list and save time in reselecting the same configuration repeatedly. You can pick a list whenever you need to test.
Favorites: Selecting a given configuration repeatedly can be cumbersome. To ease your efforts, we have added the Favorite tab to help you perform real-time testing faster with a single click. This eliminates the hassle of selecting configurations every time. Just add your favorite browser and OS combinations in Favorites and launch the test with the same configuration.
Schedule Screenshots: With LambdaTest Automated Screenshot Scheduler, you can now schedule screenshots on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis; eliminating the pain points associated with manual capture of screenshots. LambdaTest will perform the screenshot tests automatically and send the screenshots over an email.
Geolocation Testing: When performing Real-time testing and Screenshot testing, you have the flexibility to test websites across 40+ countries and check how it renders in different geographies. Along with geolocation testing, you can also test for Geo-Targeting, Geo-Blocking, and Geo-Localization. All you have to do is select the location and browser environments and start testing.
You can install the extension from the Chrome marketplace. We also have detailed documentation in place to help you get started with the LambdaTest Chrome extension.
